High fat, lower protien foods?

Hi, Friends,

I have a lot of trouble getting enough fat into my diet, but I eat A LOT of protein (because that's what helps me feel full!). People on here have told me that there's no problem with going over one's protein macros, but I find that if I have too much protein and not enough fat, I get constipated, which I really hate.

My problem is that I don't like avocado very much and I hate adding oil into my diet because it feels like adding a ton of calories without adding satisfaction or fullness. Like, if I cook a chicken breast in oil or not, doesn't make me enjoy it more or less and the oil can add 100 cals! That's too many calories.

Any suggestions for foods high in fat that aren't also super high in protein?

(Please don't tell me to increase my calories. I understand why that would be your advice, but please just trust that I know what works for me in that arena. Thanks!)

Fattier meats? Skin-on chicken? Heavy cream?

    Olives. Avocados.

Ditto the heavy cream - particularly delicious whipped and served w/ fresh berries. Or, not whipped and poured over fresh berries.

Ice cream ... actually most full fat dairy items. Maybe try dropping a high protein, low fat item and substituting equal calories of cheese to get some protein, lots of fat.

Unsaturated: Olive oil, grapeseed oil, fish oil, peanuts, walnuts, almonds, cashews

Saturated: Butter, coconut oil, higher fat beefs, creams as mentioned above, BACON...there's protein in bacon though...

Sorry just read you don't want to add the oils...how about an italian dressing with vinaigrette and olive oil? Spaghetti sauces with olive oil? There are yummy ways to add oil.

Eat fattier meats. I see a lot of people trying to eat only lean meats when there is nothing at all wrong with fattier meats, especially if it hits your macros.

Substitue coffee creamer with heavey whipping cream.
Replace reduced fat cheeses with full fat versions.
Replace non-fat yogurts with full fat versions.
Add nuts to a meal or snack

If you are full on 1200 calories but lacking fat, there isn't anything wrong with cooking with an oil or fat.
A lack of fat in your diet can cause some bad side effects like dry skin, and hair fall out. The constipation my also be caused by either the lack of fat or lack of fresh fruits and veggies (fiber).
