Yay! Down 3 pounds

I really need to make sure I weigh myself in the mornings! Yesterday evening the scale said 130. This morning it said 126.5. Considering my goal was only 10 pounds and I was 130 on November 6th - I'm getting somewhere. I think it's pretty good for a sugar addict. Still fighting the sugar too. Heck, I had a reuben sub and some french fries last night. Mmmm, swiss cheese, 1000 Island dressing.
The exercise is easy compared to trying to eat healthy. HEALTHY IS HARD TO DO IN AMERICA!!!
I have been eating light calories during the day and having my biggest meal at night and I'm losing weight. But I can thank this site because I get to see the amount of sugar. I'm a sugar addict (yes this is a real thing) so this is a big deal. Adult Diabetes screwed my father in less than 20 years because he didn't take care of himself - I'm not going to end up like him!!!
To all the adults with Diabetes: take care of it!!! It can be 'reversible'. My Dad went from 50 years old being diagnosed to on dialasys 3x per week by 68. He almost died last year. All this because he didn't change anything when he found out. Uncontrolled Diabetes knocks 10-15 years off of your life. His mom is 89 and still going strong - his grandma died at 92. I'm hoping he will at least see 70.
