New again - motivation needed :)

Hi everyone

I am a divorced mom to a gorgeous almost five year old little girl. I am trying to do a total "MEEEE" makeover. I have a heart condition which can make exercising a challenge at times. I was well and properly motivated for a while, but then got sick again and had to stop exercising. I am feeling better now again and rearing to go! However, I am not overly motivated and finding that getting back into a fitness routine is quite difficult.

Looking for people to help keep me motivated :)

    Hi, Welcome again. First off I have to say, I am sure you have discussed getting active with your doctor since you have a heart condition?

    Motivation can only come from one's self, others can offer support, help, inspiration and a multitude of other things but motivation itself can only come from you. Think of it this way, the only one with the real interest in changing your life is you, if everyone else would stop helping or supporting you, you would still need your own motivation to continue :-)

    It's good to list reasons why you want to do what it is that you want to accomplish. Get real with yourself and find your reasons, these you can use to motivate yourself and others can use them to help you along if you loose direction. Set yourself goals, both long and short term and work daily to attain them. Make little changes, start slowly and make positive steps each day, week, month...
