i been having this takeaway for about 3 months.

been under estimating it by far
i got it today , and weighed it , and ended up about 1100 calories , used to put it about 600
any other person make a MASSIVE mistake on certain food ?

Peanut butter. I used to snack on it because I heard it was good for me, but I would eat like a quarter of a jar at a time. This is back when I never once thought about calories, though.0

I majorly underestimated with hummus.0

Surely after 3 months. Your meal must be going mouldy by now - Yuk....:embarassed:0 -
was it the chips or the rice that was the killer. id say probably the chips.
probably better to have or the other.0 -
Hummus for me. I can polish off a container (~6-8 oz.) of hummus in a sitting (700 calories). Good thing I pair it with raw veggies (<100 calories worth). Now, I make hummus and veg a MEAL, not a snack. And keep it to 1/2 a container, or plan for the extra calories.
I was actually quite surprised my "standard" peanut butter serving was pretty bang on 1 tablespoon. Hmm, it wasn't the peanut butter sandwiches "making" me fat. LOL, just EVERYTHING else.0 -
For me, it was nuts and avocados. A few years back, I decided to start eating healthier but didn't really care much about calories. I heard nuts and avocados were good for you so I practically ate unlimited quantities of those... Lol. At least my hair and skin quality improved. 8)0

Actually, I had the opposite thing happen yesterday.
I had some pizza. Weighed it. It was waaay less than the serving size on the pizza parlor's website. So I ended up eating more of something else later. Win.0 -
Back in the olden days when I wasnt thinking so much about what I ate I would have a plate full of pasta. I really had no idea how high in calories it is. I definitely think twice about it now. I also underestimated cheese.0
