I am looking for a healthy cleansing diet...something that doesn't take more than a few days or a week...any suggestions?

OOh!! I did one two months ago and it was amazing!! It focuses on being cleansed and healthy for your whole self, not just your weight...It's one week long and I lost 4 pounds in the week, which doesn't seem like much, but it kickstarted me in a huge way. I can't rave enough. It's in a book called Bikini Fit.0

Good question! I am bumping this for later, I'm curious to see the responses you get!
I was reading up on a organic honey & water (or green tea) cleanse, I'm not a big fan of this idea (or fasting), but it convinced me to give it a try. It lasts 3 days, haven't started it yet just because I'm having a heck of a time finding organic honey...ugh! Maybe someone will have better ideas....good luck!0 -

I really like this one, it's easy and not too restrictive with your diet. I lost 6 - 8 lbs in the week it took to complete this cleanse, and kept it off for quite a while. The only reason I gained afterwards was because I started working at a desk job full time...0 -
As a nutritionist I suggest doing a day of purely fruits and vegetables. You can even use a juice extractor however I recommend eating the foods to get the fiber and stop the insulin rush. Either way will detox you. Many of my client take a day a week to simply do this with great results. Also, start every day with a glass of water with a lemon squeezed in it. Drink that periodically throughout the day on an empty stomach.0

I did one from women's health called "a cleanse that isnt crazy" or something like that. it was bacially lean protein, good carbs, veggies and fruit..
it was pretty good and you're not left starving. i plan on doing my own modified version for a week after thanksgiving.0 -
Instead of a cleanse I'm trying my second fast based on "Eat Stop Eat" (there is a thread here with info).
It's just a 24 hour fast from dinner last night to dinner tonight for me and you can do this 2x a week.
You do have to make sure you do resistance training on your fast day to build lean muscle (or prevent loss) and it’s supposed to be for people who aren't counting their calories during the week, just eating regularly and not restricting too much.
At the end of my fast day I eat maybe 500-600 cal dinner so that deficit of about 1000 calories today will help with any splurge I had in the week.0
