Same food, same routine. I need ideas because I am slowly starting to eat the wrong foods. I pretty much stay in my goal range but I don't want to eat back into the habit of fast food. I eat salads, apples, and chicken that is pretty much it and I am so bored of them. HELP please

When I get bored I just go to the supermarket and grab a bunch of different types of nuts and dry fruits. I know the fat in them get in the way, but a great source of protein, that will let you feel full longer. I Love munching on almonds, cashew nuts, brazil nuts...
  • Kashi granola bars work for me. They satisfy me as if I am having a real candybar or something.. But they are healthy. You can do a search on them and check the nutirtional values and they are tasty!! Yum:love:

How about throwing ginger and spring onion in with your chicken, give it a p bit of zip.
Do yourself a stirfry with some chilli pepper in and peanut butter. one of my favourites is a salmon fillet microwaved on a bed of leeks with ginger and a bit of soy sauce. and my absolute favourite meal is chicken baked in the oven with olive oil, garlic, chilli tarragon and halved cherry tomatoes, i dont even have this with rice anymore i have it with broccoli and asparagus....................;ooh I am getting peckish i am gonna go

add spices to the chicken like hot sauce, or mustard. when cooking it why not add some fruits in the mix and cook it all together so the juices from the fruits soak into the chicken? :P "spice" up the routine by adding something to the mix. :D

I use the Cooking Light cook books and magazines! They are AMAZING and I feel like I eat like a queen. I have lost 96 pounds and Cooking Light is a big reason why.
  • I think what you are saying is your meals are boring. How about some nacho chips with cheese sprinkled on top put them in the microwave and melt the cheese. Buy Mexican tomatoes, diced, and use them for salsa. They have no sugar in them.

You can ] buy diet bread and make a sandwich once in a while, buy some ham or turkey and your favortie cheese. You can also grill your sandwich. Subway small turkey hoagies are very good with no sauce on them, use the veggies and get it stuffed.

If you continue to eat the same thing all the time you will get very very bored and start sliding to the point you are not paying attention. I love chicken and eat it in all different ways. But it can get boring. Good Luck

There are lots of great recipes on MFP. If you like pasta, type in pasta when you do a search in the community area of the website. If you want dessert, try searching for desserts. Dont' be afraid to try something new. I've started keeping a word document of recipes that I've tried and liked off of here and there are really good ones, they taste great, and don't have a trillion calories.
