Beachbody's PiYo

I just signed up to be a Beachbody coach. I'm starting out doing Shakeology and PiYo. I'm pretty excited about it! Has anyone here tried it yet? If so, did you like it?

No thanks. I've been very successful staying in my calorie deficit, lifting heavy weights, and enjoying my own favorite foods. Good luck in your career. These threads never go well. Good luck.

You shouldn't have mentioned that you signed up as a coach if you're really looking for people's opinion, lol.

But anyway, I really like it. It's a nice change from lifting weights. I don't think it's enough though, so I'm doing cardio on the side as well, but some workouts definitely make me sweat, and I've been pretty much constantly sore since I started it (and I've been exercising regularly for over a year). I love that the longest ones are only 30 minutes and that you rotate between 9 different workouts (12 if you buy the deluxe version like I did). So far there's only one I'm not really fond of.

The eating plan is garbage though, IMO, like all of Beachbody eating plans. I guess that's how people get 'results', by eating at a 600 calorie deficit even if they don't have much to lose.

I'm not a coach, by the way. And if you search 'PiYo' on the forums there are a couple threads about it already.

Usually when dropping serious dollars on a product, I ask these questions first.

That's one thing I was wondering about - would it be enough cardio. But I liked the fact that it was low intensity so figured I'd give it a try. I can always add cardio, like you did, if need be. I was hoping the faster pace would be enough for me. I get too fidgety with regular Pilates and Yoga - I like something that moves a bit more.
