Very bad mood

I just started almost two weeks ago. The first week was great I felt fine. But the last three days I wake up very energized happy and ready to work out. So I wake up work out eat my breakfast and feel fine. Right before lunch time I just get so sad/mad kinda feels like depression. I totally made a change from day to night with my eating habits. I used to eat fast food almost everyday at least once a day. Then some days I would go to a restaurant on top of that. I drank nothing else but soda. Just very bad poor habits. These past two weeks I have not had any soda or juice just water, I have not are out but once. I just hate feeling this way. I'm not hungry I get really full with my food that I eat and I change a lot of recepies I make different things and I love the food I'm cooking but I just don't understand why I feel so sad. Has anyone experienced this and if so how long did it last? I work out everyday at least for 30 minutes a day. I do Zumba and kick boxing.

It's hard to guess without seeing your diary.

Your calorie goal may be set too low.

You may also be trying to make too many changes at once. You didn't gain those 80 lbs over night and it's probably not realistic to think you're going to completely change your lifestyle overnight.

Have you given up on restaurants all together.
You sound like you have made everything a chore rather than a challenge.
Do you give yourself a reward once a week for your efforts for doing such a good job.
I think what you might be getting is more obsession than depression.
Not all restaurants sell unhealthy food, don't shut out life to feed your goal.
Getting healthy is a good goal. happiness will come when your priorities are straight

According to Mayo Clinic, abruptly stopping your caffeine intake can cause short term depression and irritability. This is assuming that the soda you drank contained caffeine.

See the following article for more information:

You may be changing too many things at once, and there will be a period of adjustment, especially when giving up a lot of sugar/caffeine.

Keep going, you're on the right path, you've probably got about a week-10 days more of feeling like this before you'll notice a change.

Thanks guys I worked out during my funk and I felt better like with extra adrenalin I decided to cut it all out of my diet because I had been getting an allergic reaction to something and I couldn't figure it out maybe now that I'm adding things little by little I can see what it is that I am allergic to. Thanks for the help guys.
