I am on a 1200 caloric intake per day. Due to my exercising, I can eat 1650 calories. After exercising, I am below caloric intake. What can I eat to keep me at 1200. Example: I eat 1650 calories per day. After I exercise, it drops to 1009. I would appreciate any help with this situation.

It would help if you were to open your diary, so that before responding folks could have an idea of what you are eating and what may be lacking in your diet.

I usually pack an ounce of nuts/seeds of some sort in my gym bag. That's 100-200 Cal of snacks I can munch while changing or walking to my car. I try to get fairly plain nuts like raw almonds and salted pumpkin seeds.

I'm often worried that I might skip the gym because something comes up or I just get lazy. Happens less often than I think, but I'm a worrier. So packing the snack with my gym stuff means I don't eat it unless I work out and it helps me deal with my net calories.

To lose 30 lbs., set your goal no higher than 1 lb. per week—which is more than 1,200 calories.
