    When my husband proposed to me I loved the ring, but didn't like the quality of the diamond (I am VERY sensitive to diamonds that have too much yellow).

    So I went back to the store and purchased a better quality diamond on my personal account and never told him. When we got the appraisal back he was shocked at how high it was!! :blushing:
