Broken bones

I had an accident on 10th June and managed to break a bone in both my legs.....
I am usually pretty active, 45 mins minimum cardio each day with my fun (skydiving) at the weekends

In order to heal my bones, I ignored my calorie counting, but not moving has increased my weight (not checked but feel it)

SO..........
I can now start getting out with low impact exercises...... I'm swimming & stretching (crush injuries to my ankles so soft tissue damage & non-weight bearing so decreased muscle mass) & some gentle walking......

So do I reduce my calories to 1000 to get off the blubber, or stick to 1200 & hope that the minimal exercise I can manage will get me back to fitting in my 'thin' clothes?

I'm kind of surprised your weight went up. I had open-heart in December and my caloric requirements went up almost 60%.

I'd suggest holding fast on the calories as your body is still repairing.
