Meal frequency/calorie intake advice

Howdy all.
Currently, I am eating something like this split:
Breakfast 300cals
Lunch 850cals
Dinner 600cals
Snack 200cals
What do you guys aim for? I guess it's all about schedule. I have more time to make a bigger, healthy lunch than I do an evening meal at the moment. I exercise between Lunch and Dinner, which psychologically is good for me because I feel as if I am fuelled up from lunch, and eating back a few cals in good stuff at Dinner!

sounds smart to me having a big lunch before a workout. I aim for six meals/snacks a day. I don't really care so much about how much I eat but I like to make sure I split it up so I am eating every three hours. I guesse I get like 300 for breakfast and lunches and 500-600 for dinner. Snacks are like 200. IT depends. My goals is to stretch it out for the day.0

Sounds about right.
I am at
Breakfast : 250 - 300 cals
Lunch : 400 cals
Dinner : 600 cals
Snacks : 400 cals
My daily limit is 1800cals0 -
Meal timing / frequency has no impact on weight loss so it's all personal preference / scheduling.
Sounds like you have a plan that works for you so stick with it.
For me, on work days I have 5 to 6 smaller meals (planned snacks prevent me eating too many cakes/biscuits in the office) but at weekends I'll just have 2 or 3 larger meals.0 -

This!
If that schedule is working for you that's great!
My schedule is usually 2 meals and my nightly dessert.
The calories for each depends on the day, normally my 2nd meal is the bulk of my calories for the day at 900-1400 calories0 -

Thanks guys! I used to fail because of my shortsightedness and focus on short term goals, but I guess it doesn't really matter when I eat the calories, because over the days, weeks and months, it's just the average that counts!0
