Was doing so well...then I got sick...

I was doing so well with changing my body comp and reducing BF%. But then 2 weeks ago I was struck down with a bladder and kidney infection, which really screwed me up. I was off work for just over a week and couldn't do anything (anyone who's had a kidney infection would understand) so was stuck in the house the whole time. I didn't have the energy (or desire) to make healthy, wholesome food, so I turned to quick convenience food like bread, pasta, cereal, chocolate, etc. and now I have undone all my good work and I hate it.
Has anyone else been in the same position? Were you able to get back on track? I go away early September and I really want to feel comfortable in my own skin...

everyone has a hiccup every once and awhile, just dive right back into it!
if you were able to make the switch to a healthier lifestyle before you were sick then you can do it again, just try not to let things like sickness throw you off track next time0 -
Hi I have been struck down with a water infection which is making my kidneys extremely painful. I feel like someone has just taken all of my energy as it's taking me all my effort to come to work every day. I know exactly how your feel. The only thing you can do is once you are feeling better, draw a line and start again, plan all of your food and exercise and you'll be surprised how quickly you get your groove back.
Hope you feel better soon. It can take over two weeks to feel anything like recovered, but take it easy to start with if you usually exercise a lot.0 -

This.
I think the 'worst' part about backsliding into less-than-ideal eating is the guilt. Don't let it get you down, OP. Just move forward -- getting right back on track. No harm done. At worst you may have slowed your progress for a week or two. Don't fret.0
