So, I have a bodybugg and I love the crap out ofit. I LOVE that little results screen you get. I aim for a 1000 calorie deficit daily but, usually get just over that. On Friday I had a 2033 deficit and was so gassed that I had to copy and paste that screen into an email for my friend to see. Is there anyone who would want to send each other some motivational screen shots like this when we are particularly proud of either a specific workout/burn or a fabulous deficit or even on a bad day for some support? I love the data and find it empowering. I'd love to peek inon someone elses and lend some insight and have someone else do the same for me. Let me know!

I love my Bugg also. I have had it since March and have lost 56 pounds since February using MFP and my Bodybugg. It holds me accountable for my actions and activity. I shoot for 2,200 burn a day and try to keep my calorie intake to 1,200 (or a bit more when I exercise hard that day). Only complaint is the food log, don't like it, I prefer MFP hands down.
    Keep up the good work!!!

I had a bodybugg...and I really liked it. I stopped using it because of the food log...it is painful to use, and needs to be updated for sure.
I had lost 45 pounds with it in only 3 months. I use a pedometer & this site now.

As far as the food log, it sucks buttermilk. I use mfps food diary, and then i copy just the calories and macro nutrients into the bb software as one meal. I love to do it that way. I have a paper I printed with columns for the things bb asks for and i write them in from my bottom line in mfp. I keep thinking, 'i should just update the food database in bb' but, i love mfp too much. :)

Congrats on that 56 lbs!! And that 45!!
I lost most of my weight with gbuess work before I got my bugg. I got it to step my game up and keep me interested. I love data.
  • i would love a Bodybug....saving up for it, but have other things that have to be purchased first. when i do, i would LOVE to share my progress. (i'm praying that santa brings me one...but i'm thinking i may be getting a kayak for my kayak-a-lon)
