Hi! I started p90x this morning. I'm pretty excited about it But nervous... I'm not in shape at all! Just excited to actually be doing something about it finally. Looking for others who are doing the program as well or who have done it to talk to and keep each other motivated.

I did P28x...when I was at my heaviest. yeah i only made it 28 days and then I went to the gym and started lifting...haha. P90x is a great full body workout, especially if you give it hell when you do it. I slung sweat 360 degrees around the room I did it in.
Keep it up! The more you do it the easier it gets...then it gets hard again...haha. Its a good kind of hard though0 -
It's fantastic if you can stick with it. Odds are in he beginning that you will not be able to complete the videos to the entirety. But the body adapts so quickly that within 2-3 weeks you can really get into a good grove and keep up.0

Yeah I can't do the videos all the way... But I'm doing my best. I just hope to be able to do three unassisted pull ups eventually! Haha0

I'm doing P90X and just started week 2 today. I sent you a friend request. Also, I'm in a group on Facebook of several hundred people that has really helped me keep pushing play. Let me know if you're interested in joining.0

Awesome. I don't have fb, but it's sounding like the are tons of support groups on there and I'm almost wishing I did haha! I let I'm going to want to quit because I'll be so sore..... But I'm determined to keep going. Have you done the program before?0

I have not done P90X before but I have done other programs like Jillian Micheal's 30 Day Fat Shredder and Insanity. This is more about building muscle so honestly, at the end I feel like I have too much energy left in comparison to the ridiculous cardio you do in those other programs.
Good luck and keep pushing play, you'll see the results when you're done!0 -
It's a solid program but I wasn't able to do it because the yoga workouts were too demanding of motor control for me. That and because of my low ceiling height I was not able to do either the pullups OR the band modifications in my home, so I had to quit.0
