Implanon vs depro vera ( experience)

I used depro vera for years, loved it no complaints.

But I am looking for something longer lasting after the birth of my first child in Oct. Has anyone been on Implanon how did it affect you. I know it is supposed to have weight gain, but so was depro vera and I reacted well to that?

I had just gotten to my goal weight when I got pregnant so I want to be able to work out and eat right and get back to to that soon after giving birth ( 6months or so)
