Hello Everyone! (Check out my post on Instagram: #todayiweigh)
WARNING: THIS IS FOR BOLD PEOPLE WHO ARE NOT AFRAID TO SHOW OFF THEIR "NUMBER" AND ARE READY TO GET RESULTS WITH HELP FROM FRIENDS THROUGH SOCIAL NETWORKING!
I'm looking for some support on my weight loss/health journey. #todayiweigh 163.5lbs and my waist measures in at 30.7in. I'm only 5'2...needless to say getting healthy and dropping some inches off my waist is my top priority.
A little about my journey: My highest weight (that I measured) was 196lbs in 2011. I've yo-yo'd for 3 years but I've managed to keep my weight loss around 30 lbs since last summer (2012).
My goal: I want to slim my waist down to 26-27 inches. I figure that should put me between about 130-140 lbs.
The hashtag: #todayiweigh is my way of keeping myself accountable if only for a short period of time. I just posted my weight and waist measurements on Instagram with this hashtag so if you would like to follow my journey and post your journey with the #todayiweigh hashtag please feel free to do so.
My goal with going social with my journey is to gain supporters and be a motivation to others.
We can help each other!
**I know, I know. I hear all the time from my network of friends, "Stop weighing/measuring yourself everyday!" Regardless, I'm a numbers person. I like to find correlations in my food intake, exercise, and measurements. So, if everyday measurements aren't for you that's fine. You can join in with your measurements with any intervals you'd like (once a week, bi-weekly, monthly). I plan on measuring daily.
Thanks for reading!
