Do you eat back calories burned??

I'm doing turbofire and also exclusively breastfeeding my 9 week old. I want to make sure I don't cut my calories too much because I don't want it to effect my milk supply. I've been eating back calories burned except the last maybe 200 or so calories. What do you all do when it comes to calories burned?

To eat or not to eat? That is the question.

Nursing a baby is the easiest weight loss technique. Just have to eat sensible so you don't reduce supply.

I don't trust the default "calories burned" on here and I don't own a HRM. I eat back a good portion of my exercise calories most days, and try to leave about 15-20% remaining under my calorie as a buffer. That's just my approach that works for me, though. However, I eat over budget some days and significantly less on others; my schedule is hectic, so I look at my weekly net, not daily.

You are nursing. Its important to keep your calories up to make sure yoyr body can supply for both of you. Staying hydrated and eating back as much of your workout calories as you can will make it a lot easier on both you and your lil one. Remember, you're already operating on a cal deficit, or so I assume, cutting them more risks hurting your supply.

    Congrats, btw :)

I find that I lose weight better when I eat back *Some* of the calories I've burned but not all - maybe half or slightly less. It's going to take some trial and error to figure out what works best for you, but yes, you do need to keep your calorie intake up a bit to avoid any affect on your milk supply. I would start with eating half of the calories that you burn and see if you continue to lose weight, and making sure it doesn't cause your supply to decrease.
