Hello!

I have been using this app off and on for a few weeks, and thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Ashlee, I'm 26 and I'm a dance instructor. I stopped taking classes myself 4 years ago and have been doing a lot more teaching as a result. Another result of this has been some weight gain and becoming less in-shape from what I used to be. I used to weigh 125lbs and was toned- I got up to 140 and not toned at all. It has made me extremely self-conscious. I know 140 is not really "fat" or "overweight" and my BMI was still actually in the area considered "normal" but I know if I kept allowing myself to remain in that state I would eventually end up overweight especially with some of my genetics. I don't really care so much about the weight as I do about getting back into shape. I have been doing insanity for 3 weeks, and this is my 4th week starting. I did have to take one week off since I had to travel for my job (and we were so busy that we were literally getting about 3-4 hours of sleep per night, going nonstop during the day) and we must have walked somewhere between 30 and 50 miles total for the week (which counts as some type of workout, right?). Today I started Insanity back up again and plan to keep it up. I have a couple of friends who started doing it with me, but I'm finding myself needing some more motivation as it isn't always a positive experience with my friends. I'm just here to learn, engage, and be motivated and maybe help others who might need it. Feel free to add me. :)
