Ok to break out of a plateau, I was thinking of eating 1100-1200 calories a day for 2 weeks and then go back up to 1300 or 1400, what I was usually eating to kinda confuse my body. Would that be okay? I do not eat my exercise calories and have 11 pounds left and the last are pretty frustrating to lose. I don't want to change my exercise routine because I am doing the Turbo Fire program and have 2 1/2 months left and I'd like to finish it. Then I am onto Insanity. I haven't weighed myself in a few days and don't plan to for another 2 weeks because I was weighing myself every day (bad habit) and it got frustrating. I threw my scale in the closet for now. I am 5'1 and weigh 121 pounds.

Step up your exercise to break a plateau, stay within your calories and don't utilize your exercise calories. And DEFINITELY don't weight yourself but once a week.0

you may not want to change your exercise (Turbo Fire program) but I would encourage you to throw something "extra" in -- maybe a walk after lunch or dinner. just to break the plateau.0

Are you doing the Shakeology stuff along with Turbo Fire? I hear the Shakeology 3-Day cleanse is a good way to get out of the plateau rut. I just finished the cleanse myself and saw 4 pounds gone! Just kinda shocks the system, then go back to the normal routine.0

I'm not a doctor or an exercise physiologist but I'm with the other two; everything I've read says the best way to get off a plateau is to change up your exercise. Also, make sure you are drinking your water. Don't reduce your calories - you might want to read the links for newbies in the general diet section -one of them talks about the stages of weight loss.0

Not yet. Not until after the holidays. I am doing that ASAP though. Lol
Thanks for directing me to the stages of weight loss, Debtappe. I actually have increased my water intake. Right now I am starting my menstrual cycle so I am not even going to be thinking about weighing myself, hahaha.
I actually started to go on walks with my daughter (she's 15 months old) around lunch time. I wish I could go running, but being a SAHM, I can't leave her here, duh and even after my husband gets home, it's getting dark and I'm cooking. I hate running in the dark. I have anxiety issues. Walking is good though.0
