New to the Site!!!

Hi All,

I am new to this site so I thought I would say hello. I am from South Phila. I am struggling to lose the 50 lbs that I had gained after undergoing 4 years of Chemotherapy. So far I am down 24 lbs. and 23inches. The last 26 lbs. do not seem to be coming off so easily. I have tried 3 yrs. of Weight Watchers and I got stuck about a year ago. I have maintained my weight for a year now. A very special friend of mine recommended that I come to this site so I am taking his advice. Right now I am going to a bariatric specialist to help me to reach my goal. So good luck to all !!!!!

Welcome to the site! I started a week ago today and I've lost 4.5 lbs so far. I have 50 lbs to lose and you inspire me. You are a survivor and a strong woman! I've also used Weight Watchers in the past; lost weight; and eventually gained it all back once off the program.
