Exercise same time everyday or vary? And does it matter?

So a few months ago when I started getting serious about getting healthy, I started walking every day at 5.30 AM. I did that for about a month, before wanting to introduce circuit training (after reading about how it's better for my body type and as someone with Hashimotos) over just cardio etc.

So right now I'm doing Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred + using the "Sworkit" app on some days as an alternative.

Question is, there is so much info out there on 'best time' to exercise. When I was doing my early AM walks I loved it as a nice start to the day etc etc...plus I read about how it's good to jumpstart your metabolism etc.

But now that I'm doing circuit training instead, I find I like doing it better later in the day, either at lunch (when I'm working from home) or when I get home from work before supper.

When you do prefer to work out? And is there really a better time of day --besides what personal preference is--is there really a scientifically proven best time of day for working out?

Not a whole lot out there that supports working out at any certain time is better than the other. There may be some anecdotal evidence here and there but for the most part it doesnt matter alot.

    Train when you can.

I train whenever it fits into any particular day. Sometimes that's 5am, sometimes that's 9:45 pm, or anywhere in between. I have a definite preference for squats and deadlifts in an early morning workout, only because my legs are fresh, but whenever I can fit a training session in is when it happens.
