Reverse dieting and fixing my metabolism

Hello everyone :) Im new to posting on here so I hope this is the right category

Anyway, my question is, Is it possible for me to reverse diet to the point where I am eating 2,500 calories? Im in the progress of fixing my damaged metabolism.

Long story short, when i first started my health journey a year ago, i jumped straight into eating 1,200 calories a day, which then turned into 1,000, which then turned into 800. Ive worked my way back up to 1,500 by incrementing my intake slowly and gaining muscle that I had lost through heavy weight training.

I follow flexible dieting (or iifym) at the moment and I am increasing by 50-100 calories a week. My macro split is 50/30/20. I am 5'3 and weigh 110.9 lbs and 19% bodyfat. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    I'm 5'4", 155, female, 31.

Scooby's tells me my TDEE should be 2400. I am maintaining my weight eating 2750-3000 a day. I was netting about 1400-1600 while I lost the bulk of my weight, and slowly reintroduced calories over a couple months.

I am on the fence about whether I want to lose the last 15 lbs like I originally planned. I'm having successful (although slow) body recomp results while maintaining my weight right now and I have a large frame.

I think it's possible but you will need to be reasonably physically active. Slowly up your calories over a few weeks and monitor your weight. Part of it is figuring out what works for you. Good luck :flowerforyou:

You might want to go look through the Eat More to Weigh Less group. Not that you won't get responses on this board, but EM2WL already has a bunch of posts about similar topics that you can dig through without waiting :)
