Scale recommendations?

I think it's time for a new scale. I am a "daily weigher" (just works better for me) & for the past two weeks - my weight fluctuates WAY more than "normal" (i.e. 140lbs one day; 136lbs the next; etc.). The numbers even change within one hour time span (i.e. yesterday it read 138.5... 10 mins later it read 137... 5 mins after that it read 140... ugh!). I tried weighing a bag of cat food (3.5 lbs) & it didnt register at all. ANYWAY, long story short (too late - lol).... anyone have a scale they really like? The simpler the better for me! Thanks for any suggestions!

a bathroom scale is terrible at weighing light things. Try this - stand on the scale, read the number then stand on the scale holding the cat food. Hopefully it will be 3.5 lbs more than the previous measurement.

Aside from that, any of the Tanita scales are great. The Fitbit Aria scale is awesome for daily logging and I think Withers has a similar "wifi" scale among others.

First try changing the battery, as wildly fluctuating numbers are often due to low battery.

I have this scale and have been very happy with it for 4 years: http://www.amazon.com/EatSmart-Precision-Bathroom-Capacity-Technology/dp/B001KXZ808

    It is very simple.

Awesome - thanks to you both! :) Just changed the batteries... if things are still crazy - I'll totally look into your suggestions! Cheers!
