And now my new addiction... Peanut Butter!

Options
In the past 7 months I've lost 45 pounds, but I've become addicted to peanut butter. Yum! Can't get enough. My addiction has become almost ridiculous. Here are some of my favorite snacks, meals, and brands:

Shake (for a meal):
- 1 or 2 servings of peanut butter of choice
- 1 Banana
- 1 Chobani Simply 100 Greek Yogurt (Vanilla, Blueberry, or Blackcherry)
- 3 fist fulls of ice (roar!)
- Scoop of protein powder (optional)
- 1 tbsp of chia seeds (optional)

NutriBullet that **** until it's the consistency of ice cream!

Breakfast Choice #1:
- 2 packets of 100cal plain oatmeal
- 1 or 2 servings of fruit (raspberries, banana, pear, or melon. If I'm feeling rebellious, I'll mix and match!)
- 1 serving of peanut butter
- 1 tbsp or chia seeds (optional)
- 1 serving of granola (optional)

Microwave that oatmeal and mix everything together. I feel like I'm eating candy.

Snack Choice (the weird one)
- 1 serving of raw broccoli
- 1 serving of almond butter!

Dip that broccoli, son.

Here are some of my favorites that I've discovered through the past 7 months:

- Wegman's Organic Smooth Almond Butter (Non-New Yorkers, sorry.)
- Chocolate Coconut Almond Butter
- Wild Friends - Honey Pretzel Peanut Butter
- Better'n Peanut Butter (my favorite and about HALF the calories of regular peanut butter!)
- Better'n Chocolate Peanut Butter (OMG!)

And next on my list to try:
- Wild Friends - Sesame Cranberry
- Better'n Banana Peanut Butter
- Better'n Hot Pepper Peanut Butter (not sure that I'll like this one)
- Better'n Maple Bacon Peanut Butter (oh boy)

So, any other peanut butter addicts out there?

Too much fat in peanut butter, I try to almost entirely steer clear of it. That's great that you can eat it if your macros can afford it. Mine can't. ;(

wonders what your calorie goal is that you can't fit 200 calories worth of awesome into your day if your truly enjoy it... I eat it all the time and it...fits my macros just fine and always has >.>

It's your protein/carb/fat allowance for a day as shown in your Diary on MFP.

I can fit the calories, I can't fit the 18g of fat per 2T...or atleast I choose not to. That's almost half of my daily allowance on one portion. It's ridiculous.

Fats are a minimum and important for overall health. Exceeding your fat is not detrimental, assuming you're hitting your other macros. Meh. Never slowed me down

It's been years since I had this. I must indulge again.

The last time I bought this, the jar lasted about 36 hours. I think I used the same spoon. ;) I like to think I have a better idea of what moderation is nowadays ;)

i LOVE peanut butter... laura scudder's is one of the best that i've had, and natural. i put some in my oatmeal every morning. also eat it on top of green apple slices. or just eat it straight out of the jar! i try my best to be careful with the stuff 'cause it's calorie dynamite. but when i do have it i enjoy every bit of it!

I was going to chime in and recommend the Peanut Butter & Co brand, but I see I've been beaten. Their Bee's Knees honey peanut butter is delicious, also. I wish I could find the crunchy variety around here, but I haven't had any luck yet.
