The last week or so with the hit weather, I've seen the scales go up by around 3lbs. I've stuck to my diet and exercise plans but still the scales have climbed! Can hot weather cause weight gain due to fluid retention?

I posted something similar last week - apparently it's the humidity - I posted a link to a scientific American article about it. it will go once the weather breaks.
