I'm looking for a new combo to try at chipotle. I tend to try to stay away from the burritos/tacos. I almost always get a salad with no dressing, black beans, and extra chicken with hot salsa. I love my usual order I just wanna switch it up. So what do you get there?

The sofrito is new and its a marinated tofu..I was like ew..but then tried it..AMAZING-a little spicy though. I had that with black beans, lettuce, pico, salsa, sour cream and grilled peppers.0

i'll either get a bowl and eat half, maybe 2/3 of it, or get a salad. if i get a bowl, i ask for only 1/2 the rice.0

I get a bowl, either chicken or veggie, with black beans, the medium corn salsa, and usually either cheese or sour cream (I don't have the calories for both, usually).0

Directions to the nearest Freebirds.0

burrito bowl with the following
chicken
black beans
fajita veggies
corn salsa
cheese
500 calories and 49 grams of protein0 -
tacos...I see no reason to try to stay away from them. I usually get the barbacoa with black beans and cheese and the hottest salsa they have...which isn't all that hot.0

If I have lots of calories:
bowl with brown rice
black beans
steak
lettuce
corn salsa
guac
or if I'm limited:
salad with no dressing
chicken
corn salsa
guac
Always guac. I know higher calories but damn do I love it. Never cheese, never sour cream.0 -
Chipotle is my weakness:
1/2 chicken, 1/2 steak, white rice, fajita mix, black beans, mild salsa, mild corn, cheese and lettuce. I love guacamole and sour cream and used to get it on...however, now I get it on the side and put a very small amount myself. I can only eat about half the bowl so it ends up like 400 calories, if that.0 -
Nothing. Because I've never eaten at Chipotle. :-\
I live under a rock and I'm happy here.0 -
I get the burrito bowl. Lettuce on bottom, chicken, black beans, no rice, cheese, lots of pico de gallo and hot salsa. I sometimes add the fajita veggies too!0
-
I am vegetarian, so veggie burrito bowl with rice, beans, sofritas, guacamole, salsa, sour cream, fajita veggies and lettuce.
Or Cheese quesedilla!0 -
Awww, why is everyone so scared of brown rice?! It's so good for you and satisfying! I get the hard shell tacos w/ brown rice, beans, quacamole. Sometimes chicken if I want to feel extremely ****ty later.0

I had no idea they had tofu -- tofu is the SHIIIIT0

Veg salad, no rice, everything else but the corn salsa. PP, Freebirds is really good too but there aren't many here in Norcal.0

Stay under your rock. You're not missing much.
I stick with hole in the wall places where you have to guesstimate the deliciousness.0 -
A bowl with half a serving of brown rice, chicken, plain tomatoes (I hate onions too much for their "tomato" salsa), sour cream, and cheese. Just under 500 calories and so delicious! And now I might hit there for lunch tomorrow.0

I get the salad with a little brown rice, black beans, grilled veggies, steak, the corn salsa and a little cheese. No dressing. LOVE IT!0

You're not missing a whole lot...
It's decent for what amounts to basically fast food...but I live in New Mexico and we have an abundance of local eateries that are far better than anything you could possibly get at Chipotle. Chipotle is an easy stop for us after swim lessons with the boys though or kung fu or whatever we have them in at the moment...quick and easy.0 -
Nothing. They are anti agriculture and anti American.0

This is my poor college student approach to Chipotle, which makes it go a long way:
I get a burrito bowl - usually barbacoa, white rice, pinto beans, medium salsa and corn salsa, and cheese. Sour cream on the side
I bring it home, cut up some lettuce, and make tacos out of corn tortillas.
That burrito bowl ends up lasting me about three meals.
It actually ends up being relatively healthy, because the corn tortillas are low in calories and very filling, so you eat less of the Chipotle stuff at once. But I'll admit that I don't have health in mind when I bring home Chipotle, it's generally because I'm broke and don't have the time or energy or cook...0 -

I'm not from New Mexico, but I went through there once and had the best Mexican food that I've ever had, no contest. It's a beautiful thing.0 -
I usually get a carnitas burrito with rice, black beans, mild salsa... But I tried the chicken tacos once because it's lower calories. Definitely not as satisfying.0

Nothing, I heard their food is not as good as it used to be... Unless you are white then you probably wont notice...0

This. I thought it sweet and delicious irony when a SF Chipotles was picketed by animal rights extremists, because that's who they've sided with to throw farmers under the bus.0 -
I typical just eat half or a third, so I get 2 or 3 small meals. I find that if I eat slower and have a glass of water, that I am good with the smaller portion and still get my craving taken care of0

Totally white here. Thinks the food is crap.0 -
I'm not a fan. I like QDoba a little better, and I can do without it as well. I like my homemade burrito bowls better..and I can weigh and calculate the calories for my own much better.0

I realized that a huge amount of calories was in the tortilla, so I've been getting burrito bowls for awhile now. Most days I tell myself I'm going to save myself the calories and not get sour cream, but I'm almost always lying to myself...
There is sort of an obscene amount of Sodium (WTF, Tomato Salsa?!), so I may substitute the mild salsa for the hot.0 -
A veggie bowl with the fixings is fine for me.0
