Just call me Laura the weight fluctuating magician. I lost 60 pounds in 2011-12, got pregnant and gained all of it back after my son was born. I've attempted to motivate myself several times since he was born (18 months ago) to no avail. Hopefully I will actually do it this time. I need friends to keep me motivated and any tips you are willing to give! Feel free to take a look at my diary--- there are only 2 days in there. Thanks guys! I need to lose 58 pounds!

When I seen the "Here we go again" I giggled because that is exactly what i said 2 days ago when I started this AGAIN. 2 years ago I lost 30 pounds and kept it off but now I am creeping back up. I have put 12 pounds back on and getting close to the 170 mark. 2 years ago I was so close to 200 pounds and felt tired everyday. My old problem was eating all day and never watching portions. Now my problem is that I don't eat until later in the day and then I justify the burger and fries or the 3 pieces of pizza. Oh and I love my weekends on my deck with more then a few beers. YIKES...Here we go again...0

First of all I congratulate you on losing 60lbs a few years ago! Having children makes it even more difficult to keep the weight off. I had two children and it wasn't till they were both in their later teen years till I was able to lose some weight and enjoy doing so by biking, hiking and doing other activities with them. My advice would to defiantly not put it off till they are older, you will want to enjoy already being fit to do those activities. Maybe try taking the stroller and go for a walk, it's better than nothing. Just stay with it, it sure is a battle but its a possible one once you can get the mind set as well as get into a routine that works for you.0
