Just wondering how accurate is the calorie calculations on the exercise database. I worked out on the elliptical for 30 minutes. The machine said I burned 250 cals. (punched in my weight/age). But when I went to log it on the app it said I burned 414 cals. Im not sure which one is more accurate.

MFP's exercise database is not accurate. Neither are exercise machines. The most accurate are heart rate monitors (with a chest strap).0

I always post the lowest calorie count I get until I can get something accurate...0
