I am so annoyed at myself. I could not for the life of me figure out why I have not lost weight in the last month. Today, I went through all the food I consume on a regular basis. I googled their nutritional info in stead of believing MFP.
Surprise! The raw penuts I thought was low in calories AND which kept me full for most of my day, had 3 times more calories than what I thought it had. Thank goodness I did not gain anything! I think from now on I will only be logging items which has confirmations next to it!
So, we learn.....

When you first learn how many calories are in peanuts and other such legumes and nuts, yes, it's a major revelation.0

Nuts have so many health benefits, but ya really have to stick to portions....those calories can add up FAST!!0

I never believe MFP entries. To confirm what's in MFP I use manufacturer websites, this http://nutritiondata.self.com/ and this http://wholefoodcatalog.info/foods/0

Maybe you could go back to that Raw Peanuts record and edit it to reflect the proper calculation so someone else doesn't get stuck like you did.0

I know. I couldnt believe how many calories were in sunflower seeds. :grumble:0

There are unfortunately many inaccurate entries in the MFP database. Always pays to double and triple check!
