Half of this battle is mental...

Hi there-I'm new-ish here. I've never posted on the boards, and up until recently haven't seriously used MFP as a tool.
I am 25, engaged, a mother of four, and keeper of a leopard gecko.
I have about 70ish pounds to lose and am hoping that by building my body to health, my mind will become more healthy, too.

Edit: I'm nervous to do this, so I will just throw it out there. I struggle with compulsive binge-eating and severe anxiety. They are petty, silly, shameful issues, but the anxiety, atleast, has imprisoned me for years. I'm ready to break free.
