New clothes....new me!

So this past couple weeks I've been on a mission to revamp my frumpy outdated closet full of big boring dark clothes.
Something finally hit me that I don't need to hang onto the last of my fat clothes like some security blankie. I guess there is still some little part of me that is afraid I won't be able to keep the weight off like all the times before. But with my new found self esteem I quieted that nagging fatty voice, I put on my "big girl panties" and cleaned out that closet.
Two big bags to donate later I was done and felt even lighter! It was very theraputic to say goodbye to those clothes, like shedding the last of the old me or something. Past times I'd always saved big clothes in plastic bins in the attic labeled "mumus" and would eventually have to blow the dust off that bin and drag them down the ladder to have to wear again.
WELL NO MORE! I will not have anything to go back to, because I have made real lifestyle changes for good. There will be no more bins in the attic. The new me doesn't need them, the new me is healthy, confident, and get this HAPPY with who she is! So it was about time I reflected that in my outward apperance. I went to town shopping! Got cute dresses, fitted tops, skirts that are above the knee, and *gasp* all of them show my shape! I'm topping them all off with fun big bold accesories. No more hidding behind ill fitting clothes drab clothes for me! I have worked too darn hard over the past two years to get where I am.
I have a new wardrobe, a new attitude, but most importantly a new lease on a healthy life!

Congrats!! I love your attitude! I have to do the same! I actually bought a pair of pants about a month ago that were one size too big because I couldn't wrap my mind around the fact that I was actually the smaller size. I think you have inspired me to go out there (or order online) the next size down!! Thank you!0
