Looking for a few Type 2 diabetic friends

I was diagnosed in May and given 4 months of diet and exercise to work on getting my A1C under 6 before September. Mine in May was 6.1 but with strong family history doctor isn't fooling around. My mom died from this in 2008-- lost both legs, kidney failure, heart surgeries, etc. Support friends would be wonderful!!
