Hi guys
I'm 23 years old.. 5ft8 and currently weigh 12st11.
I started dieting around may last year when I saw photos of myself at my own birthday party -reality check! I started off at 17st4 but am finding it difficult to shed the last few pounds. I've managed to maintain my weight around he 13st mark for about 6 months so thought I'd join my fitness pal to see where I was going wrong.
Any pearls of wisdom would be greatly appreciated and friendship requests are welcome.

Sure is hard the last part!!!
Good job maintaining though and you should be very pleased with that after the initial losing.
Not sure about pearls of wisdom, but you have come to the right place.....
Use MFP and you will reach your goal, get a stack of friends to help with accountability, support and fun and enjoy concluding your lifestyle change.
