Back and here to stay!

Hi everyone, I'm 5'10", 23 years old, and back on MFP for the 3rd and LAST time!
The first time I managed to lose 45 pounds my 3rd year in college through obsessively counting calories and going to the gym. . I hit a plateau about 30 pounds from my ultimate goal, and gave up to maintain for awhile because I was back where I was in high school. I went up and down about 10 pounds over the next year and a half, which I guess didn't bother me enough, because I got lazy.
Now I'm about 20 pounds back up since that first weight loss, with a grand total of 48 left to lose.
I just signed a lease for my first apartment with my boyfriend, and we move in August 1st! From then on our lives are going to really change, with weight being one of them. Only healthy groceries will be brought into the apartment, and we both plan on joining a gym in January once we catch up on bills.
Until then, I'm kickstarting my weight loss with counting calories again and using a fitbit to help me figure out how much I burn in a day , then tailor my eating to that.
(I'm an EMT, so I basically lift heavy things for a living )
I'm looking for MFP friends in similar situations, or even if you're just an active user!
