I need to earn enough to get that Ferrari before the reunion but I'll probably just end up renting a Cadillac STS and hope no one sees me parking the car.

That's quite a specific situation, so I'm guessing not many people will share it.

    Good luck though.

I had mine 4 years ago. The event was in August and I starting working out in Jan-Feb. I lost some good weight but then stopped working out a couple months before the reunion and gained half of it back.

I just wore all black to make me look thinner.

My 20 year reunion is this year, but due to cost for travel and the flipping event itself, I won't be attending. If I were attending, I think I would just focus on what I could. It literally is just another day for me. I have certain loose kind of goals, but I'm not going to kill myself for one event so that people who judged me 20 years ago can do it again. If I'm getting healthier and shedding pounds, I'm doing it for me, not for a reunion....though I can see the enjoyment I would get over showing up being the healthier one rather than the unhealthier one.... But again, that satisfaction would be for me....

What goals are you trying to reach? And what is your motivation? :)

The weird thing is, people go through all that effort and unless you changed big time, no one notices... le sigh.

I've had my 20th ( and my 30th!! :ohwell:). I looked great for both of them (she said modestly) but the real difference was how people were dressed, how their hair looked and their faces (in terms of skin). The women who had taken care of themselves and CARED how they looked looked so much better regardless of size.

So moral of the story-work out, and eat healthy and if you lose some poundage-great. But get yourself a facial, wear a dress that makes you feel like 10 million bucks and walk in owning that place. Have fun!
