Ever have a Test that makes you panic?

So at my office today we had our Bio Screenings to see if we qualify for preferred on our insurance in 2015. Consists of BMI, BF% test (hand held), nicotine swab (sent to lab), height, weight and a prick of your blood on a little machine that diagnoses cholesterol and glucose levels.

Long story short they didn’t say they were testing glucose, i ate lunch (National Hotdog Day) 167g of carbs. My turn for test 15 mins after lunch sugar was 334. OMFG!!!!! I'm gonna die!!!

After some research, and realizing I had more than twice what they test diabetic patients on via a 2hr carb test (typically 75g) I went back after 90 mins and asked to be retested. Sugar now 87. Ok so I process the stuff fine it was the fact I ate then tested I know this. Still a little panic set in and made me wonder about my every day decisions. 167g carbs in my only "meal" of the day a bad thing? Am I doing this wrong? I'm continuing to lose weight and have seen a significant change in my body. As well as every other number was on tract of where I am headed. Just will I kill myself for eating too much at one time?

Losing weight and seeing good changes in your body means you are doing this right. The lowered blood sugar after 90 mins means that your body is processing food appropriately.
