Introduction time

Hey all, I'm here for the same reason as everyone on MFP is: to lose weight. I joined a couple years back, but I never made it far on the site or in weight loss. Now, two years older and wiser, it's time to start again and be serious about it. I hit the heaviest I had ever been three weeks ago, a solid 225lbs, and was disappointed in myself for letting it go so far. I lost 5lbs before coming back to this site. The food/exercise diary here is just too useful of a tool to pass up.

    Hi :) Nice to meet you. Congrats on deciding to get healthy and restarting your journey :) As you said there is so many useful tools here it is a wonderful site. :) Make sure you are logging every thing you eat and also just remember never give up no matter how bad a day you have just get back up and keep going :) Best of luck :)

    The fact you're here is already an accomplishment.

    Recommend you adjust your prior "check ins" and start with whatever weight you're at now too. That's what I had to do in order to be honest wit my big self. :)
