Hey all, I'm here for the same reason as everyone on MFP is: to lose weight. I joined a couple years back, but I never made it far on the site or in weight loss. Now, two years older and wiser, it's time to start again and be serious about it. I hit the heaviest I had ever been three weeks ago, a solid 225lbs, and was disappointed in myself for letting it go so far. I lost 5lbs before coming back to this site. The food/exercise diary here is just too useful of a tool to pass up.

Nice to meet you. Congrats on deciding to get healthy and restarting your journey
As you said there is so many useful tools here it is a wonderful site.
Make sure you are logging every thing you eat and also just remember never give up no matter how bad a day you have just get back up and keep going

The fact you're here is already an accomplishment.
Recommend you adjust your prior "check ins" and start with whatever weight you're at now too. That's what I had to do in order to be honest wit my big self.
