HELP!!!! I KNOW I'M DOING SOMETHING WRONG!

I've been tracking for almost a month now with the exception of some weekends and I've been working out for at least 4 days a week and I've only lost 3 lbs. I was expecting the 2lbs a week. My husband is deployed so I don't have the usual support from him. I know I'm doing something wrong but I haven't figured it out yet. I'm looking for support, positive/negative feedback and someone to give me a kick in the butt when I forget to log or go over my calorie goals. Is there anyone out there willing to accept this challenge???

If you're looking for feedback, opening your diary would be a great way for people here to look at what you're logging and share some of their experience!

    Hey Micia,
I think you're doing great. Seriously! I think expecting to lose 2+ more lbs per week is a lot (my own opinion). Make sure you drink plenty of water (obviously), I like to drink half my body weight in ounces. It does keep me really satiated. ALSO and maybe most importantly (aside from eating real, whole foods), is using myfitnespal you are able to control your target for MACROnutrients. Meaning, if you are a particular body type, you should eat less of something and more of something else (i.e. carbohydrates, fats, and proteins). Firstly, you need to figure out what exactly it right for your body. This article here is VERY helpful: http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/macro-math-3-keys-to-dialing-in-your-macro-ratios.html

Now once you figure whether you want to change your ratios in myfitnesspal, go to goals, and you should be able to change it there.
Best of luck, mind if I friend you?
