Workout Lifting Routine

I have been stuck in the same lifting routine for the past 6 months. I had another one and then changed it but now I have hit my plateau. I do not know any other ways to lift. I currently lift 5 days a week heavy and 4 days of cardio. Should I increase cardio and routine of weights so i confuse my muscles? I want to get more lean and cut before I go all out and lift heavy to gain muscle. THoughts on routines, cardio, ideas, what do you do??
