Strength training - yet not calories burned?

Options
I have been with a trainer for abour 1 month. We are now kicking things up - demonstrated by the intensity - and sweat! Yet - this workout does not seem to have a caloric burn associated with it. What's up with this?

If its strength training done is succession . . . not taking any form of breaks between each type of lifting, I count it as interval training, if I'm breaking a sweat and I can feel my heart rate go up, I count it. :0) Also, wearing an HRM (hear rate monitor) helps figure that out as well . . . thats on my Christmas wish list. :0)

Use a HRM (polar F6 or Garmon seem to be the most popular on this site) and log it that way.

You log it under Cardio on MFP you'll see where it shows up when you get to 'excercise' :flowerforyou:
