Well there is no quick way to lose weight. It dint appeared in one night and wont go away in another. If u want you wana do it i mean really really wana do it prepare your mind that u wont be seein results for a few weeks. U have to wait for a month and 2 months to see the results for yourself. Prepare your mind for it. This is an imp part that beginners miss and no one tells them.

It's not about how quickly you can do it, at least it shouldn't be. You want to do it a way you can stick with all through the process, and be able to keep it off once you've lost it....meaning basically you want to start habits you can keep up for the rest of your life.

Keep it simple. Burn more calories than you consume. Log your food. Be honest. Exercise if you want, but it's not strictly necessary for weight loss. Some people do it simply to have more calories to eat. Don't make it complicated.

"Cut off your legs" "Donate your brain".... are you posters for real? If you got nothing to say, don't waste other people's time.

OP... quickest way would be to go on juice /smoothie diet. But you got to juice yourself using fresh vegetables and fruit 80/20. There is a lot of info on web about juicing.

Most likely you do want to keep it off, especially if it is an excess weight. This is where learning to eat wholesome and healthy, and adding exercise will come in play. Skinny is not the thing to be, nor overweight. Aim to be healthy and strong, then you will feel good, will have energy, look good and will be confident.

Chose a healthy approach and stick to it, if you trip, get back the next day. Good luck and don't give up!

Eat real food, not processed junk.
    Eat moderate portions.
    Drink enough clean water.
    Do cardio exercise.
    Do weighted workouts.
Do some exercise every day, even if it is just 15 minutes, it will all add up. Don't give up. It is worth it.
    Get a good nights sleep.
Rest once a week, at least.

THe juicing you mentioned will reduce lean tissue which will slow down metabolic rate making it easier for her to gain weight.
OP: there is no long term solution that is quick. Get that out of your head if you want to be successful.

Just watch your calories and put the work in. I don't know why people keep trying to get around this.

You can't lose weight quickly, unless you are considered morbidly obese. People who are accustomed to eating 4 to 7 thousand calories a day, that cut back to 1500 or less peel it off quickly, but as they keep losing they slow down also.

With only 20 pounds to lose, realistically be happy with a 1 pound loss in a week, and as you get closer to your goal a 1/2 lb. a week loss, is something to be happy about.

Don't go for any weird diets or pills that promise immediate so many pounds per week loss, they're all scams designed to relieve you of money. Just stick with MFP.

For long term weight loss success, it's simply calories in versus calories out. Meaning eat less, move more.
