EVERYONES BODY IS DIFFERENT. YOU WILL LOOSE BELLY FAT ALONG WITH ANY FAT YOU ARE LOOSING, SOME PEOPLE JUST PACK ON MORE BELLY FAT THEN OTHERS SO IT MAY FEEL FRUSTRATING IF YOU ARE ONE OF THOSE. MAKE SURE YOU TAKE YOUR MEASURMENTS AND MEASURE EVERY TWO WEEKS. I DO KNOW THAT CARDIO WORKOUTS ARE THE BEST WAY TO BURN BODY FAT:smile:

YES! Cardio is key! And do a variety of ab workouts. If you get the muscles toned under neath, it will help flatten your abs out. At least it has in my case!

my belly fat is due to extra fatty skin from pregnancies. i've been doing abs workout for about 2 months now and haven't noticed a change.

I've also heard jump roping is a great cardio workout to fight the belly fat. Maybe? I've done it and the next day I am really sore in my core area so it must be doing some good!

As Banks has said in the past, your body is pre-programmed to take fat from different areas of the body, depending on your genetic map.

I'm like some of the other gals - small waist with the fat sitting around my hips and thighs! Join our crunch challenge! A bunch of us are doing 400 crunches a day and posting our results.

Oh dear, WHOLE other story... I feel your pain... :grumble:

I had two babies back to back (less than 2yrs apart) and the skin is slowly tightening up (bounced right back after my first, and a little slower with the second). I've been using the Bio-Oil on my tummy, and it is looking better. I've also been doing the ab work, which just makes me feel better.

Another thing my trainer told me about the "sagging skin" issue is that skin has memory, so if you can lose the weight quickly, the better it is. She reminded me of when morbidly obese people lose lots of weight and have hanging skin (because it was stretched out for so long), while women who gain 50 lbs in pregnancy have their baby, and their skin bounces right back. The less time the skin spends stretched out, the better. So we are all doing the right thing by losing the weight!

In Canada I get the Bio-Oil at Shopper's Drug Mart, but in the States apparently you can get it everywhere (ask the pharmacist or at the cosmetics counter). It is AMAZING!!!

Hello, I just joined this group tonight. Well I have lost 17 pounds and now its getting harder to lose the rest of the wight. Of course the last to go is my belly fat. I need to tighten up my belly. I have a ab roller that I use every other day. I haven't lost any wight in a week and thats way I joined this group to help me with the last part of my diet. I think this is the most hardest part of my diet.:indifferent:
