I think I hit a weight loss plateau

I have not seen the scale budge in about a week. I was losing 5 pounds a week every week for 4 weeks. Now I'm not losing anything. My exercise and eating habits have not changed. I'm so surprised that I hit a plateau so early on in my weight loss journey. What should I do?

A week doesn't really count as a plateau. 5 pounds a week is very extreme, most people do less than that in a month.

One week is not a plateau. If it goes on 4 or more weeks with no loss, I'd call that a plateau.

Looking at your ticker, you're down to the last 10 lbs, so hopefully you've been readjusting your goals and are now set to lose .5lb per week. When you only have a few pounds to lose, weight loss tends to slow. You also have to be more careful when the deficits are smaller, as one night out could wipe out your deficit for the week.
