Going over on tracked nutrients?

Okay, I understand the deal with going over on the "bad" things-calories, fat, carbs, sodium... Is there anything "wrong" with going over in protein or fiber? I always thought that those were "good" things that "we" needed more of.... So, is the number there to make sure you get at least that much or is there a real problem with going over?

MFP quotes too low on fiber, you should have 25g minimum so its a good idea to custom-set that goal.

If you're doing a higher protein diet like 40/30/30 then set your goals accordingly so that you don't go in the red. Too much protein can be hazardous but I think you have to be eating over 150g a day before that happens. Someone will confirm that for you shortly.

As long as it's not excessively over, there should be no problem! Although some people will disagree with me, you can actually get too much of both of these nutrients, but I really wouldn't stress if you see a little red in these areas.
