I don't understand it. For 7 weeks I've been eating really healthy. I've been having homemade fruit smoothies for breakfast or eggs for breakfast every day. For lunch I've been having a salad, no dressing, with chicken. For dinner I've been just chicken. I must admit on weekends I cheat but nothing ever too heavy. I've been exercising 5-3 times a week and nothing that doesn't get me sweaty or sore the next day. 7 WEEKS and I still don't think I've lost any weight or if I have it's been like maybe 4 pounds. Please I need suggestions I don't know what to do. I'm over weight by 4 pounds and I just want them to go. My self-esteem really plummeted when I found out I gained 15 pounds this past year. I already had low-self esteem so this makes it worse. I'm drinking ONLY water these past 7 weeks. I think there was just one weekend when I had soda. Please. I want to lose fat. Please someone help me or tell me what to do. Does anyone have supplements they recommend? Thank to whoever reads this post. I greatly appreciate it.

are you logging all your food and staying within your calorie goals?0

1. Magic pills and potions don't work
2. Do you accurately log your food?
3. If you only have 4 pounds to lose then expect to lose less than a pound a week.
4. If you've lost 4 lbs in 7 weeks you're losing at an appropriate rate and nothing is wrong.
5. With only 4 lbs to lose if you really do have excess fat you need to do exercises like heavy lifting to firm up what you have, losing a couple pounds likely won't make as much difference as you'd see with some good strength training0 -

There is a big difference between no weight lost in 7 weeks and 4 pounds lost in 7 weeks! 4 pounds in 7 weeks is half a pound a week, which is a normal pace when you don't have that much to lose.
If you haven't already, set your goals in MFP to get an idea of how many calories you should be eating and log your food.
And please try not to tie your self-esteem into your weight! You are so much more than a number on a scale, and with some patience and trial & error you can figure this out.0 -
Eating healthy =/= weight loss.0

You haven't mentioned tracking / logging your food. If you eat too much food, healthy or not, you will not lose weight.
Keeping track of your food is very important. You have to accurately weigh / measure your food to know for certain how much you are consuming every day.
(A digital food scale is extremely affordable and important tool to have in your kitchen...less than $20 from Amazon!)0 -
are you consistently logging your food? Are you logging your 'cheat' weekends? You can absolutely blow any deficit created during the week by a weekend blow out every week.
So you might have lost 4lbs in 7 weeks? Have you or not? 4lb in 7 weeks is great!0 -
As others have said, you are losing over a half pound a week. That is AWESOME! Good job! Relax, keep doing what you are doing and the strength training/lifting that someone else suggested will probably give you the results you are looking for. Keep up the good work. Congratulate yourself! :drinker:0

This pretty much covers everything I had to say. I have blown many many weeks of being good with what I thought were innocent weekend cheats.
Also, 4 pounds in 7 weeks isn't bad, especially when you don't have many to lose in the first place.0
