Hi all,
Love MFP and now done a whole week. However I am a keen cyclist and when I cycle it credits my step count and messes up calories burned. Do others turn it off whilst they exercise or does that mean all step for that day are then lost? Any thoughts appreciated.

Do you use a fitbit or a step counter like a pedometer?0

Nope. Just my Garmin 500 which was linked to a Heart rate monitor.0

What device are you using to count steps?0

I don't do "real" biking, but stationary biking, and just figure it based on miles per hour and length of time cycling. MFP doesn't indicate what vigorous, moderate, and light cycling are, but LiveStrong actually has mileage and calorie guidelines for that.0

It's taking my steps from my IPhone motion chip which is linked to MFP. I don't seem to have the option of turning it on and off as it freezes then crashes.0
