So not impressed

I've been tracking here for 2 weeks. While I had a few bad days, I thought I had balanced those out with exercise. I am up 3 pounds from where I started. This is SO not the direction I need to be heading in.

Same here, up 2 pounds....but I'm not giving up yet....It HAS to come off sooner or later.....
And I know I didn't put it on overnight, so.....guess it won't come off that way either0 -
I went up 3lbs right before my period. Might be bloating. Check your detailed food analysis for your sodium intake. That can really put a crimp in your loss0

Wish I was only up 3! I'm up about 6.5!!!0

Plus if you're exercising you might be gaining muscle faster than losing fat. But that's just my opinion.0

Drink water, watch the sodium/salt intake and keep going. You will see it come off. Make sure you are counting EVERYTHING that goes into your mouth.0

You should really take your measurements and again in a week and see where you are.
You weight could be due to water weight, bloating, muscle if you're workng out.
There are other people on this site that put weight on in their first week and then lost a load from then on.
Keep trying xx0 -
This is definitely in the category of "do as I say not as I do" but in previous threads it has helped some people to make their diaries public or at least to people who 'friend' them. Sometimes others can see what we can't for ourselves. Good luck!0

I tried to look at your diary but it wouldnt let me. I would say make sure your measuring your food and ( dont take this the wrong way) DON'T CHEAT YOURSELF!!! What kind of exercise are you doing?0

X2 kinda of what I am saying0 -
Since I've been on here, the only things that have worked is making sure I get lots of water in, eating regularity and doing some kind of activity. I started small with walking 3 km and worked up to 5 km, which I almost got to doing that in 45 minutes before the cold hit. Once I started strength training to get some muscle back on me, I started to see some real change, on the scale and in the size of my clothes. Keep heart, it didn't go on overnight, and it won't come off healthy that way either. Here's a hug of encouragement from another Canadian girl, even in the cold, we rock!0
