Why would you want to do it? The pictures you see are not 'proof your colon is full of rubbish' its the clay you have just eaten coming out.
Sorry to sound harsh but I HATE these products0 -
There's no scientific proof that cleanses have any benefits.
Your body does a nice job cleansing itself... that's why you go to the bathroom.0 -
really? I honestly thought that was all the gunk from your colon. as i have been getting older, the gas problem and bloating just gets worse so I thought a colon cleanse would help.0

This is an old thread but might have some gems in it - I confess I've not read it all

I did a 10 day master cleanse (with psyllium husk in juice added), and the same kind of stuff -fmp- as you see in the bentonite/ master cleanse pictures came out, without ingesting any bentonite clay, so I'm a big believer in getting your body re-balanced through fasting as long as it's done in a way that you're not hurting yourself. The grade B maple syrup + cayenne and lemon juice gives you enough energy to get through the day to where you're not going to pass out, and it's amazing to find the other places you can get your energy from when food is removed from the equation. All kinds of cultures and religions use fasting for different reasons, it doesn't always have to be criticized for being warning signs of an eating disorder if taking a break from food is doing good things for your body and spirit.0

Nope, ingesting clay and fiber isn't going to do anything good for your colon.0 -
Whenever I hear about these cleanses I think about the research being done on the importance of gut bacteria for health. Why, for any reason other than a colonoscopy, would you risk killing off the micro-biota that keep you healthy? Detoxes do no good, they only do harm irrespective of the bro-science that says otherwise.0

You body is better than we give it credit for when it comes to "detoxing". However psyllium husk is natural. Both husk and chia seeds and can help move things along your intestinal wall. No harm in ingesting it, but I'd stay away from the whole "colon cleanse".0

I take Psyllium Husk every day. Not as any type of "colon cleanse" but because it makes my poops 10X less messy. It basically empties out the chamber....otherwise I usually have this -

..... risky click0

I also take Psyllium everyday. I have Diverticulitis and IBS and it helps to get everything out. It's not a cleanse as in a weight loss cleanse.
The brand I take is Konsyl.0 -
not sure about psyllium but I have been using this one http://www.mb104.com/lnk.asp?o=6675&c=918273&a=131147 for around 2 months now and i have lost 5kgs and my skin looks like it has been touched up by an air brush!0

Have you tried it? Only buy a little at first (the husk is aweful.. can't drink it, just makes me puke)0
