Hi, so i've been counting calories and exercising everyday for the past month, and though i've lost six lbs, my body doesn't feel much different. i was wondering if maybe i'm doing something wrong? you guys can check out my food diary, and i tend to burn and average of 500 calories in the gym everyday, sometimes more and sometimes less however.. anyway if anyone can help that'd be greatly appreciated!!

Maybe its just your shape? I have lost 15 lbs so far, but its barely made a difference. Yeah my clothes are a LITTLE looser, but no major difference. I am pear shaped, I lose my weight a little bit here a little bit there.0

Me too, same thing....kinda frustrating!

dont worry too much about it, keep doing the work. i read an article that said that at first some people dont show signs of losing inches due to their body shape, but once you lose enough inches, it looks like you shrunk in a matter of days. Keep working out and eating right, it may take a little bit, but eventually it will show. i am apple shaped and i need to lose at least 15 pounds before i start to see any signs0

I definitely feel you. I work out for an hour 6 days a week...generally eat healthy (on saturday and sunday this week I bombed...and sunday last week was a cheat day....i'm on week 6 of P90X (but i'm really doing week 5 again bc my real week 5 was horrible). I'm barely losing 2 pounds...while my boyfriend has lost 16 pounds in the same amount of time. It's frustrating and I don't know what else to do10

Take measurements or before pics. You see yourself every day. It is harder to see the difference. Six pounds is huge.0

The question is how do you feel?0

and i guess i do feel better, it's just frustrating that i'm not skinny yet lol. i'm too impatient! 0 -
I know how you feel.
I've lost weight and barely notice a difference at all BUT my stamina and energy level have improved and I feel so much better after a workout that it's worth it for me0 -
Okay I can't tell a huge difference in me, other than the way I feel...But people that don't see me every day can tell or if I look at pics from even a month ago I can see a difference.0

Have you seen Slimquick (I think...) commercials? Where the guy and the girl both cut out junk food and the guy shrinks to a toothpick and all that happens to the woman is her boobs shrivel up?? IT'S SO TRUE!!!!
Haha :laugh:0 -

You're not going to feel anything after 6lbs. It's a slow process just stick with it.0
